Handling of Personal Information
I-N Information Systems, Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) sets forth the privacy policy for the protection of customers’ personal information (customer number and personal information, hereinafter referred to as “the specific personal information”) for customers’ peace of mind. The Company shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures, other related laws and regulations, and this privacy policy. We will manage personal information appropriately.
Purpose of Use of Personal Information
The Company does not use specific personal information and sensitive information. (The information stipulated in the guidelines for the protection of personal information in the financial field, including “personal information requiring special considerations.”)
- Sensitive information refers to the following information:
- Race, creed, social status
- Medical history, health care, sexual orientation
- Criminal history, facts of harm from crime
- Membership in a labor union
- Lineage, place of origin
- Other personal information that requires special consideration when handling, such as unfair discrimination, prejudices and other disadvantages to the individual.
The Company shall use personal information, except for specific personal and sensitive information, for the purpose of our business activities within the scope stated below.
- To provide the Company’s information services
- To offer a variety of information regarding the Company’s information services
- To conduct interviews or surveys to improve the Company’s information services
- To perform sales activities, including direct mail, regarding the Company’s information services (The Company shall stop sending direct mail when notified that the customer no longer needs the information.)
- To conduct billing services regarding the Company’s information services
- To conduct Company recruitment activities (The Company shall not use the personal information as described on the application documents for any purpose other than the hiring selection)
Collection of Personal Information
- To provide the Company’s information services, the Company often collects personal information, including name and contact information of a contact person for the service of billing, IT engineers, and users.
- The Company may collect personal information from the application documents during recruitment activities.
- The Company may collect the required personal information to reply to inquiries sent via e-mail.
Provision of Acquired Information to Third Parties
The Company will not disclose specific personal information to third parties.
The Company may disclose personal information, except for specific personal information, to third parties in the following cases:
- When there is consent from the customer
- When cooperating with the tax authorities, police, courts, or any other external institutions where the Company received a formal inquiry or request in an investigation in accordance with the laws
Management of Personal Information
The Company shall manage the collected personal information appropriately and safely in accordance with this privacy policy and all relevant regulations. The necessary and appropriate safe management will include the following:
- A nondisclosure agreement regarding personal information with employees and contractors (including subcontractors) and to provide the necessary and appropriate education and audits for employees and contractors
- Restrictions on access by employees who can see the personal information
- Prohibition of taking personal information outside the Company
Accuracy and Safety Assurance
The Company shall endeavor to maintain the personal information obtained from customers in an accurate and up-to-date condition.

Changes to Privacy Policy
